Nicky's Newest Milestone

No pictures with this post but I just wanted to share a milestone of Nicky's. Nicky has been very cautious about reaching his gross motor milestones. While Ben literally threw himself into walking at 10 months, Nicky was barely starting to crawl at 10 months. You can tell that he's very calculated about every move he makes. I see him studying how Ben's moving around and one day when he's got it all figured out he's just gonna go for it like he did with his crawling. Well, yesterday he did something very cool! No, he's still not walking but all of a sudden, in the middle of the floor -he just stood up! He's got great balance and hovered there for a good 15 seconds and then realized he was pushing his limits too much and slowly returned to the safety of the floor... One little "step" that will soon lead to his first little step... We can't wait!
