Chris' GED/Graduation Party

Chris finally earned his GED!! We always knew he'd get it, just weren't sure when! We're all so proud of him. I know he has so much potential for great things in his life. He's really grown into a more responsible, mature young man and I'm so excited to see where his life is going to take him.
Ben loves horsing around with his uncles... or rather they love horsing around with him! I don't know who has more fun with it!
Nicky being all lovey with Uncle Chris.
Ben sure got a kick out of what Uncle Mike had to show him.
Ben's new fishy face. It's such a funny story - Sam was teaching Ben how to move his mouth like a fish and in the process made a random silly face at Ben where he put his hands up to his face (not sure if I'm being totally clear about this...) and Ben confused the 2 seperate faces and mushed them together to create his interpretation of Daddy's fishy face. Maybe you had to be there, but it totally cracked me up!
I made Chris a special cake for this event. It's called Cabin Fever Chocolate Cake. It was so rich and moist and OH SO YUMMY! It's just devil's food cake mix, 1 package of instant chocolate pudding -prepared, chocolate chips, chopped nuts. I made 3 layers so it would be nice and tall (could've even added another layer) and decorated the cake myself! I'm not very good at writing letters but I really enjoyed decorating the rest of the cake!

Yummy cookies & cream crumbles...

Chris & Ben reading his cards - Ben says, "Show me the money!"
The rest of the night, if Chris wanted anything from Ben (a hug, a kiss, "I love you", etc) all he'd have to do was "pay" Benny for his love, lol! Ben got so excited holding those bills -and it taught him a new word. "Money!" Josh & Nycki

Mayfair

Mayfair is "Allentown's Premier Family Festival of Arts, Crafts, Music, Food and Fun" (as said on their website) and I haven't been in years so when my friend Kristin invited us along, I couldn't resist! We had lots of fun eventhough we didn't stay long.
Daddy & Benny created some SpinArt!
Ben & Ava had a blast in the Tiger Moon Bounce!!

Daddy taught Benny to say, "I'll be back!" He says it so seriously too.
Ben looking cool in his shades and carrying the ball he won!
Nicky liked the ball too, as you can see by the excitement on his face!
Daddy and Benny having fun playing a quick game of soccer!
Uncle Jer giving Mommy a break with the stroller pushing.
So many pretty little creeks in PA... I really took the beauty and charm of PA for granted while I lived there.
I love when Ben does his cheesy/bashful grin!

Lehigh Creek

We went to the Lehigh Creek to let Ben jump in the water. Uncle Jer, Uncle Josh & Nycki came with us.

Uncle Josh & Nicky

We forgot to bring Little Swimmers so we decided to take Ben's diaper off for a minute. I couldn't help but steal a shot of those cheeky-cheekies!

Ava's 2nd Bday Party

One of my best friends from highschool, Kristin, now has a 2 year old! We all got together to celebrate Ava's 2nd birthday. Our bunch is growing - 2 babies were added to our little soft ball team! We're officially outnumbered. Between the 6 of us girls, there are 7 kids!
Erin's a pro already. Can't wait till she has one of her own!
Nikki & Wyatt - that boy sure loves his Mommy!

Marla & her little cutie, Caleb

Nick's gonna be a great Daddy to his little guy.
Holding and loving and smelling and kissing and feeding and snuggling these babies sure makes me want another one, like NOW! That newborn smell is just intoxicating for me!
Nick & Nick sampling the cake.
He sure looks stuffed!
I wish I got more pictures of Ava... phooey. :(
