Joshie's Graduation Party

My youngest brother, Joshie, finally graduated from High School! We are so very proud of him! He's has so much potential for great things in his life. I can't wait to see the wonderful choices he'll make.

Spiritual Thought

Joshua 1:8
"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therin; for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."

As we're still pondering things in our lives, more good wisdom has been sent to us from Heavenly Father. First He tells us to pray, then He tells us to read our scriptures. Something tells me my primary teachers weren't too far off all those years! Although I already knew these things, it's good to have a reminder every once in a while...

Our little vegetables aren't all so little anymore. Here are our Topsy Turvey planters. Closest to furthest: tomato, pepper, cherry tomato.
It won't be too much longer and we'll start seeing some nice tomatoes on this plant!

Another Flower Beds Update

Our flower beds look so beautiful right now! It's just the beginning of June, I can't imagine how big everything will get by the end of the summer. I just love putting up the shade in our living room and staring out at all the beautiful flowers. That's exactly what Nicky and I did while Daddy and Benny watered the garden this evening.
I bought some Aqua Globes the other day and wanted to give them a try for my potted plant. They really are beautiful. Glad I got a picture of this one before Ben broke it! Grrr.... good thing it was only $5.
The petunias have really started spreading. I love them.
Can you see Nicky looking out the window?? :-)
