Yet another garden update...

Everything is growing so well in out flower beds and garden! I have such pride in the work we (but mostly Sam, haha) have put into making our home look so beautiful and garden grow so well. Daddy's cute little farm boys love going out into the garden to help Daddy pick everything that is ready!

Daddy's comment- "Benny's as bad as a dog getting into dirt!" ...and it's true. We had to hose this kid down before letting him back in the house. :-)

Nicky just ate it, like he always does.

We have had some red tomatoes pop up but they get eaten too quickly to take a picture.

The sunflowers are about to bloom!

My husband's strong hands showing off some yummy potatoes...
...and some cute little peas!

Bath Time

Bath time is one of the silliest times in our house. Daddy usually does bathtime and boy has he come out of there with some interesting stories. Ben likes to gather up all of his little figurines (sharks, fish, dinosaurs, farm animals, etc) and throw them in the tub. He can't go anywhere without them. We got a neat bubble machine for the bath tub that the boys absolutely love! Nicky was so cute playing with the bubbles he caught!

Do you think he's trying to be a fish or something?

"Pico" the Fish

Meet the newest member of our family, "Pico" (pronounced "Peeko") the fish. When Ben was asked what we should name him, he blurted out, "Pico!" And alas, the fish was named. He's a fun little addition to our family.

A ride in the car...

Some of our craziest times (good & bad) are in the car... on this particular day we were having quite a bit of fun! Nicky was totally cheesing things up with his big brother and they both were getting some good laughs out of it! You can see Nicky in this collage constantly looking over to his brother to get his latest reaction.

This boy loves his silly little brother.

Here I am, content with my life, my family, my boys! I have everything to be grateful for and not much to complain about. Well, I complain about some things but I do realize that I have a pretty great life. I have 3 healthy, loving, sweet, handsome, silly boys/man in my life and couldn't ask for anything more (well except for that daughter one day... and maybe another boy or 2!! Sorry! I love my kids!) More specifically though, I want everyone to know just how much I love my husband. He has the sweetest heart of any man I've ever met and loves me to my core. I trust his love for me so much. We can weather anything that life throws at us. I look forward to our beautiful life together and growing old with such a loving man by my side. How did I get so lucky??

Jenna's 3rd Birthday

One of my bestest friend's Crystal's daughter Jenna turned 3!! We were invited to her very exciting Dora birthday party.
Blow out those candles Jenna!

They had so much fun in the pool!
Nicky had fun pushing the baby stroller around...
Ben got some face paint...
...and then wanted to give Mommy some! (Although I kinda asked him to do it, I knew he'd have fun. -and he did!)
Mon petit artiste hard at work!
What a work of art!!
Nicky seemed a bit perplexed as to what was all over Mommy's face, lol!
Hi my handsome boys!!

The OTHER Walter Family

We stopped over to visit Sam's brother Jesse and his family. Jesse & Ashley welcomed their second little person into the world in May... a boy, Logan! Little Lily is quite a proud big sister.
Ben saying "Hi!" to his newest little cuz... I'm sure Ben can't wait till Logan can run around and play with all the other little guys in the family. Poor Lily needs a girl cousin on this side of the family... I can't wait to give one to her! Haha :)
Nicky seemed a little jealous that his Mommy was holding another baby.
Ben & Lily playing so cute together!
Lily told her Uncle Sam to come sit, so that's what he did!
Cute, happy little guy!
The happy family... all four of them!

At a wedding reception...with the boys!

This past weekend, we went to Sam's cousin's wedding reception and had quite a good time as a family! Thankfully they let us bring our kids... we normally try not to do that but we didn't arrange a babysitter in time. We had to strap Nicky into his stroller after a while... he was one wild kid!
How to keep a 2 year old and a 30 year old quiet during a wedding reception... pull out the plastic cups! You can stack them...
...or just make goofy goggles out of 'em!
Daddy got too much of a kick out of this.
Benny loves to dance... here he is dancing to "Play That Funky Music White Boy!" ...how appropriate.
Benny & I had to go outside to unwind a little (and grab a couple cute pictures.) I told Benny to look deep into Mommy's lense because there was a lollipop in there! You can see how confused he was... This one had me laughing so hard!
Still looking for that lollipop.
Me & my boys dancing to the Mommy/Son dance.
Benny and I just had to keep on dancing... here we are dancing a classic -the electric slide!
Daddy & Nicky just chillin' on the sidelines.

Movie Night in LaPlata

We got together with Melissa to see "Hotel For Dogs" out on the lawn by town hall. The boys had fun, the adults had fun... it was a good time!
Ben's all into superheroes and popsicles right now so when his 2 joys were all wrapped up in one yummy package, you can bet it made his night!
What to do when you have 2 wild boys wanting to run away? Throw popcorn on a blanket and see who gobbles it up first!!
Daddy and his boys watching the movie.
